Welcome to the "Parent Page"
This is a place for you to reflect and ask yourself questions. Maybe it will provide time for you to 'get away' and draw near to God for a few minutes or maybe to learn something about yourself or your Catholic faith and traditions. I have added reflection questions for you to ponder but the answers are for you alone.
Please feel free to share this page with any adult.

Please watch the video below, which is a reflection on The Creed. Ask yourself:
Do you believe all that it says?
Are you acting out your belief?
Would others know by your actions that you believe what you profess? Should you act or talk differently?
Are there things in your life that you need to change in order to really live what you profess to believe?

THE FINGERPRINT OF GOD.
The video below is really something to think about and rather amazing!
Did you ever notice this pattern before? Do you believe it may be the fingerprint of God?
Is there something else that you notice in your everyday life that you would consider to be "the fingerprint of God"?
There is a relationship between God and science...Consider this thought: God creates, science discovers. The Catholic teaching is that God can create from absolute 'nothing'. Scientists can create, but only using what God has at some point already created (discovered or yet undiscovered by man). What do you believe?

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth

The video below is a beautiful reflection of what we profess at the beginning of our Creed.
Where do you "feel" God?
Where do you "see" God?
Where do you "hear" God?
How do know God is real...why do you "believe in God"?

Some of you are familiar with "The Examen" exercise already and if so, this is a reminder of how you may also see "the fingerprint of God" in your daily life. If you have never tried it before, please watch the video below and check out the links below as well. This is a great way to remember your day with God at your side and notice the 'little things' that you may have missed. It will help you become aware of what God has done for you, or how you might improve tomorrow. It will also give you the time to thank God for what he has done for you throughout the day. If you do this on a regular basis, you will begin to notice God more and more in your everyday life.
